Quella Vecchia Locanda , debut album by Italian progressive rock band of the same name, is a good prelude to what would Il Tempo Della Gioia , their second and unfortunately last job .
Quella Vecchia Locanda make very good use of their instrumentation, without abuse and constructive, with plenty of violin and flute (and perhaps the essence of this band is a cross between PFM and Jethro Tull ) and have an excellent sense of harmony and environmental care. The songs in Quella Vecchia Locanda are exquisite taste, clearly fits the trend of Italian Progressive era.
