I never tire of discovering the great bands that musically entertained Italy in the '70s. Locanda Delle Fate and is one of the countless examples of good groups that fell into oblivion after a brief career that could only leave a faint wake, but very bright.
Lucciola Forse Le Più non si Amano is an album that has nothing to envy to the best BMS or PFM, with the perfect balance of Rock, symphonic music and innovation. Of course, it also draws on the classical influences that all progressive rock group taken into account ( Yes, Genesis, King Crimson ...).
Unfortunately, this work sees the light when the Italian progressive rock was in the doldrums, and the lack of widespread interest because of an oversaturated market very great rock bands, as well as the already well-known limitations posed some songs in a language other than English, made LDF disappeared soon after that could not even say "here we are."
a shame. It is an essential album.
